Welcome to the wonderful world of Piggy Golf.

Piggy Golf is a sport created back in the Spring of 2003, in Fort Atkinson, WI.  It is on it's seventh year of existance.  The sport is slowly growing and can be quite competitive amoung players.  Between 2003 and 2007, not much has happened in the developement of the sport.

In 2008 the Piggy Golf Championship Series Association of America was formed.   Rules were finalized and clarified for the world to see.  With a website opening that May, many followers could see their beloved sport slowly becoming a National Icon.

In 2009 the site went through a major re-design.  Scores were posted on-line for every player to see.  Detailed statistics were also calculated to show that there is some skill need to play this sport. Also in 2009,  the Piggy Golf Championship Series got to crown their first offical champion, Eric Kruk, with 68 points.  Followed by Jacob, Mittlesteadt, 56, and Derek McLain, 45.

What is Piggy Golf?

Piggy Golf is a sport, in which players, use many types of techniques and skills, attempt to toss former implements of war, a discus, at a given target. Piggy Golf is one of the few sports that do not use a standardized playing area; rather, the game is played on a discus throwing field, each one of which has a similar but unique design and typically consists of one or two throwing circles.

The modern game of piggy golf may have reached you in the earlier years of devolvement, or perhaps you noticed other piggy golfers enjoying their favorite recreational sport. Piggy Golf is spreading from South Eastern, Wisconsin to surrounding areas.

Piggy Golf as a spectator sport has become increasingly popular, with several different levels of professional and amateur golfers in, hopefully, many regions of the world. Players such as Chad Harnisch, Drew Bingner, and Derek McLain have become well-recognized supports of the Piggy Golf Movement.

With the sport ever growing, we need your help.  Join us in the Piggy Golf movement.  Learn, Develop and Share you ideas, skills and drills.  Piggy Golf is not just a sport, it is a life style for all Discus enthusiasts.  Everyone can play, of all ages and skill levels.  And with your help we can become a worldwide phenomenon.
